A narrative is created in the film based on stories
from missionary children - mainly about their experiences of being
missionary children. What they have in common is that during the 70s to
90s they attended the Swedish Christian boarding school Tazengwa, in
the middle of Tanzania.
Their memories weave together into a common voice. The stories create a
picture of a time, but they also depict a boarding school where the
adult world is absent while the community with the other children is
strong.
In relation to the parents' role as missionaries, thoughts are also raised about a "calling" of their own.
